I’m Danny Hawk and this is my diary for my forthcoming game Car Guy. I’ve generally been poor at documenting my process so this is me embarking to change that.

I want it to not just be a tidy devlog with neatly crafted design processes and solved solutions, but also a place for my ongoing ideas and things not coming together.

I’m starting this on March 4th 2024, so all posts before that date were backfilled by me from various places I’ve been posting and saving things.

Also, sometimes I stream Car Guy’s development on twitch.
